Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to your use of Orbital Scene. Orbital Scene is an independent project created by Denish Patel and operated by Darwinian Angel Ltd.
Orbital Scene is provided free of charge as a deterministic decision-framing and analytical exploration tool.
A. Purpose and scope
Orbital Scene helps users examine public-sector issues from different analytical positions. It is informational and analytical, not advisory, and does not recommend a preferred decision.
B. No professional advice
Orbital Scene does not provide legal, financial, regulatory, procurement, HR, planning, property, safeguarding or other professional advice.
Users remain responsible for obtaining appropriate professional advice where required.
C. No reliance and verification
Users are responsible for verifying applicable law, guidance, policy, facts and circumstances before relying on information presented by Orbital Scene.
Content may be incomplete, change over time or be superseded.
D. Governing Frame
Governing Frame presents a bounded selection of verified legal, regulatory and formal provisions mapped to the selected analytical view. It is not an exhaustive statement of applicable law, legal advice, or a determination that any particular provision applies to a specific real-world case.
The presence or absence of a provision does not establish whether an organisation, decision or activity is legally compliant.
An empty Governing Frame does not mean that no law or formal requirement applies.
E. No decision recommendation
Orbital Scene does not predict outcomes, score organisations or performance, rank options, recommend a preferred decision, determine whether a statutory duty has been discharged, or replace professional or statutory judgement.
F. Content and versioning
Content is authored and versioned. Within a content version, the same area and altitude return the same deterministic authored view.
Laws, commencement status, guidance and policy can change. Verification dates show when material was last checked; they are not a guarantee of continuing accuracy.
G. External sources and links
Links are provided for reference and convenience. Third-party content remains under the control of its publisher. Linking does not imply that a source organisation endorses Orbital Scene, or that Orbital Scene endorses everything on the external site.
H. Intellectual property
Orbital Scene branding, original authored text, structure, design and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Users may view and use the site for personal, professional and internal organisational evaluation.
No right is granted to reproduce substantial parts, republish, resell, white-label or create a competing dataset or service from the corpus without written permission. Orbital Scene does not claim ownership of third-party legislation, government publications or cited external materials.
I. Acceptable use
Please do not use Orbital Scene to:
- carry out unlawful activity;
- deliberately interfere with the site or conduct security testing without permission;
- misrepresent Orbital Scene output as official government, local-authority or regulatory advice; or
- automatically extract substantial parts of the authored corpus for republication or resale without permission.
J. Availability
The site may be changed, suspended or withdrawn. No guarantee is given that it will always be available or uninterrupted.
K. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Darwinian Angel Ltd will not be liable for loss arising from reliance on Orbital Scene content, decisions made using the site, loss of profits or business, loss of data, or indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
L. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The current version is the version published on this site.
M. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply.
